Pasquale Mattia Gelorini

is a visual artist (Director, Photographer, Editor)  driven by a passion for cinematic experimentation and the exploration of universal human experiences and spiritual traditions, through ecstatic visions and liminal spaces.

A graduate of Milan’s Brera Academy of Fine Arts (New Media of Arts) and the Luchino Visconti Civica Scuola di Cinema (CILECT member), he debuted with the surrealist short "Walzer" during his studies.

He has worked as an editor for AC Milan, Forbes, AKQA, and RAI.

In 2023, he directed the experimental short film "La notte diurna" (The Daily Night) - ONLINE on Weshort, awarded:

  • Best Experimental Film – Theta Film Festival (Italy)

  • L’Eclisse Award for Outstanding Arthouse Film – Chicago Arthouse Film Festival (USA, screened at Gene Siskel Film Center)

  • Audience Award – Taranto Eco Film Festival (Italy)

  • Silver Award – Leda’s Monologue Film Festival (Greece)

  • Honorable Mention – Cefalù Film Festival (Italy)

The film was selected for international showcases including Lecce Film Fest (Italy), BAFICI (Argentina), Mostra Livre de Cinema (Brazil), and International Film Festival The Hague (Netherlands).

In 2024, he edited Anna Carlucci’s documentary "La vita tra le mani" (Their Life in Your Hands), winner of the International Buone Pratiche Award 2025, with official screenings at the Italian Senate of the Republic (Rome) and Palazzo Marino (Milan).

In 2025, he co-directed the surrealist music video "Su le mani" (Lift Your Hands Up), selected for Berlin Commercial.
